The Selvatura Adventure Park is set on over 486 hectares of protected virgin cloud forest. The Selvatura hummingbird garden is ideal for spotting lots of hummingbirds. You can observe more than 14 different species of hummingbirds, including species that are not commonly seen in other areas of Monteverde. I managed to make photos of the following hummingbird species: Coppery-headed Emerald, Green-crowned Brilliant, Purple-throated Mountain-gem, Violet Sabrewing, Rivoli's Hummingbird and White-throated Mountain-gem.

The Selvatura Adventure Park is a nature center in Monteverde, northwestern Puntarenas Province. It is located in the Cordillera de Tilarán mountain range, close to the village of Santa Elena. Easy to reach by car. Large parking lot available. Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates.
