The café also offers drinks and a snack before visiting the Monteverde Biological Reserve (Reserva biológica Bosque Nuboso Monteverde). Among the birds you can see are Green Hermit, Lesser Violetear, Green-crowned Brilliant, Violet Sabrewing and Coppery-headed Emerald.
