Gradski Park Bihać is located along the fast flowing mountain river Una. In the winter there are hundreds of ducks, mainly Pato-real. Some other duck species can be seen like Frisada, Arrabio and Marrequinha-comum. In the trees there are common birds like chapim-real, Chapim-azul and Pica-pau-malhado-grande. In spring other birds can be seen in nearby trees at the park migrating back to the mountains above. Also at the park in spring you can see Toutinegra-de-barrette-preto, Tentilhão-comum and some other species. During the breeding season, outside the city you can see Melro-d'água and Merganso-grande who nest nearby. Also other species like Cegonha-branca, Garça-real and Águia-d'asa-redonda.
