The Ganshoren marsh is a nature reserve with an alternation of moist meadows and bushes. A wetland with a high biodiversity. More than 65 bird species have been observed in the 11 hectare area. Birds you can see in the area are Garça-real, peneireiro-de-dorso-malhado / peneireiro, Rouxinol-comum, rouxinol-dos-caniços, Felosa-palustre, Guarda-rios-comum, Rouxinol-bravo, Estrelinha-de-poupa, Toutinegra-de-barrette-preto, papa-amoras-cinzento, Pica-pau-mediano and Pica-pau-verde.
