De Schorre is easy to explore via accessible roads and paths (partly paved). In the marsh zone and the forest zone you will find a rich bird life. Birds that you may encounter in the area are mainly common birds such as Pisco-de-peito-ruivo, Chapim-azul, Felosa-comum, Gralha-de-nuca-cinzenta, Gralha-preta, Gaio-comum, Pica-pau-verde and Carriça.

Nederlands: De Schorre is een mooi recreatiegebied van 75 hectare dat werd aangelegd rond een aantal buiten gebruik genomen oude kleiputten. Gemakkelijk te verkennen via toegankelijke wegen en paden (deels verhard). In de moeraszone en de boszone vind je een rijk vogel leven. Vogels die je in het gebied kunt tegenkomen zijn met name algemene vogels zoals Pisco-de-peito-ruivo, Chapim-azul, Felosa-comum, Gralha-de-nuca-cinzenta, Gralha-preta, Gaio-comum, Pica-pau-verde en Carriça.

De Schorre is located directly east of the town of Boom. You can park in one of the parking lots of the recreation area. Click on a P on the map for directions to a parking lot. The area is only accessible on foot. The circular walk indicated on the map is approximately 4 km.
