Descrição
The 12 hectares of the area consist of four former fish ponds in the Molenbeek valley. The ponds have been managed in a nature-friendly way for ten years. They are a good place to make the first spring observations of Mergulhão-pequeno , Mergulhão-de-crista , Guarda-rios-comum , rouxinol-dos-caniços , Corvo-marinho-de-faces-brancas . During the winter half-year, in addition to modest numbers of Zarro-negrinha, Zarro-comum, Marrequinha-comum are present. Other species are seen to a lesser extent Frisada, Pato-trombeteiro, Marreco , Garça-pequena.
In recent years many rareties were seen during migration, like Mergulhão-de-pescoço-preto, Abetouro-comum, Chapim-de-faces-pretas ,Papa-ratos.
