Wetterwinkel Rheindelta is a viewpoint at the harbor in Gaissau which is a great birding-area in winter. Many species of ducks, grebes and swans remain here from November to March. It's for example the best place to see Mergulhão-de-pescoço-preto andMergulhão-de-pescoço-castanho in winter at the Rhine delta. Also ducks like Zarro-comum, Zarro-negrinha and Zarro-bastardo are common here in winter.

There is a parking area near the spot (at the beginning of Rheinholz). Click on the P in the map for directions. Bus-stops are more than one kilometer away and the spot is only reachable by foot.
