The Pillersee is in the Pillerseevalley near the village of Sankt Ulrich am Pillersee at 835 m above sea level. It is located in a scenic valley between the steep slopes of the Loferer Steinberge and the Schafelberg. I myself was here in the summer. This is normally a time when you don't see many birds. However, here you still see the enough birds and this will only be a lot more in the spring. Among the birds you can see here are Tordo-zornal, Zarro-bastardo, Androinha-das-rochas, Mergulhão-pequeno and Estrelinha-de-poupa.
