Descrição
Only 15 km from Innsbruck, the Inzinger Gaisau is one of the last floodplains in the Inn Valley. It has ponds, woodlands, agricultural fields, wet meadows, reedbeds and borders the shores of the river Inn. This makes Inzinger Gaisau rich in habitats and therefore rich in birds.
Birds you can see here are Tordo-zornal, Felosa-musical, Merganso-grande, Guarda-rios-comum, Pássaro-bique-bique, Felosa-icterina Toutinegra-de-barrette-preto, Pica-pau-malhado-pequeno and both Trepadeira-do-bosque and Trepadeira-comum and many species of tits. In winter sometimes you can encounter large flocks of Pintassilgo, Lugre, and in late winter Tentilhão-montês.
On the northern waters edge you have a good view on meadows and reedbeds. You can find Cartaxo-nortenho here and with some luck Milhafre-preto. On the pond you can see Mergulhão-pequeno and different kinds of ducks. Around the reedbeds check for Frango-d'água, Escrevedeira-dos-caniços, rouxinol-dos-caniços, Rouxinol-grande-dos-caniços and Felosa-dos-juncos.
