Descrição
A must-do when visiting iconic World Heritage listed Kakadu National Park, a Yellow Water boat tour offers visitors a great selection of northern Australian birds. Boat tours run throughout the day in season starting at 06.45. This first trip is preferred from a birding and bird photography point of view.
Birders are likely to see species such as Comb-crested Jacana, Black-necked Stork, White-bellied Sea-Eagle, Azure Kingfisher, Forest Kingfisher, and many more. The birds are mostly habituated to the boats, often allowing for close approaches.
Also easily seen are Saltwater Crocodiles in their natural habitat, as well as buffalo on the floodplains.
