Tilligerry Habitat Reserve has a wide range of scenic forest, scrub, wetland and coastal environments accessed by a network of paths and boardwalks. A fully accessible picnic area is situated next to the visitor centre. An easy two kilometre walk on flat gravel paths and boardwalks will afford the visitor the opportunity to see native plants, birds and possibly even a koala in the wild. Among the birds you can observe are Eastern Yellow Robin, Spotted Pardalote, Tawny Frogmouth, Sacred Kingfisher, Satin Bowerbird, Variegated Fairywren, Superb Fairywren, Australasian Figbird, Olive-backed Oriole, Yellow-tailed Black-Cockatoo, Leaden Flycatcher, White-cheeked Honeyeater, Black Swan, White-faced Heron, Golden Whistler, Rufous Whistler and Australian Pelican.
