Boyters Lane Wetlands is a restored wetland with a mosaic of freshwater marshes, open water, and native vegetation. The area is actively managed to support biodiversity, with efforts focused on maintaining native plant species and controlling invasive ones. Boyters Lane Wetands extends across both sides of Boyters Lane. One side has Teal Lagoon which has an extensive figure 8 track around the lagoon, salt marshes and forests of Council managed lands and a bird hide. Across the road the Wetlands extend onto Private land but can be viewed from the road shoulder. The wetlands provide habitat for ducks, herons, egrets and many other birds.
