Opis
Marshside is a wetland site located north of Southport town centre. In the summer, you can spot nesting birds like szablodziób and czajka, while in winter you can see groups of świstun, cyraneczka, and gęś krótkodzioba. Too many bird varieties to name here (see the birdlist below) but Marshside offers the chance to see local and migratory birds and offers them a chance for feeding and nesting. The reserve is right next to the beach so there a two main areas to watch birds. It's also five minutes drive from the town for either sit in or picinic style, food and drink.

There is a pay and display car park at the reserve and multiple (paying) parking opportunities right along the beach. Click on the P in the map to get directions.
