Local nature reserve between fast flowing upper reaches of the river Severn and disused railway line. Woods, farmland, shingle and open water.
At Llandinam Gravels upland birds can be seen such as pluszcz, pliszka górska, drozd obrożny, Pardwa mszarna, kląskawka, białorzytka, siewka złota and kulik wielki. Exposed shingle banks encourage sieweczka rzeczna, brodziec piskliwy and ostrygojad to breed.
Take a minor road south from Caersws, which is between Machynlleth and Montgomery. Postcode SY17 5AU. On entering the reserve, car park is at far end of derelict railway track.
