Opis
This area of Övre Föret contains a larger body of water directly attached to the Fyris river. Adjacent there are wetlands and reedbeds. This area can easily be observed from a bird tower. A wide variety of waders like czajka and łęczak as well as waterfowl like gągoł and łabędź niemy like to spend time here.
Many spring and autumn migrating birds rest here during their voyage. Species like gęś mała and gęś białoczelna can be found along the shore. With a spotting scope it is also possible to see many species of birds of prey flying over the horizon.

By bike one cycles south from the ciry of Uppsala along the Fyris river until you stumble upon the birdtower on your left hand side. By car one can come from Boländerna or from SLU. There is a small parking lot.
