Opis
Hullsjön is a shallow lake. It is 1.2 meters deep and an important resting place for ducks, swans and geese. The lake and the surrounding area are part of the Hullsjön Nature Reserve. Most of the times the banks and surrounding fields are flooded. These wet fields attract many birds. During the summer months, the water level drops and the flooded fields can be grazed. This makes them suitable breeding environments for mainly wading birds. The lake has a rich bird life and annually identifies up to 200 different bird species around the lake. A total of 270 birds have been seen.
