Opis
The Laguna las Cañas has several types of environment: crops, Mediterranean scrub in the surroundings, banks, flooded soils, small reed beds in the outer zone and large reed beds in the interior, free waters, islets and trees. The landscapes are changing, the amount of water and the season of the year influence the amount of species that can be observed. There are several observation points. Some of the nice birds you can see here are hełmiatka, wąsatka, krwawodziób, szczudłak, ślepowron, czapla purpurowa and błotniak stawowy. See the extended birdlist below.

Espagnol: Es el humedal que suele acoger la mayor diversidad de aves de Navarra, la existencia de distintos habitat facilita refugio , areas de cria y alimentacion. El humedal tiene varios tipos de ambiente:cultivos ,matorral mediterraneo en los alrededores, orillas, suelos encharcados ,pequeños juncales en la zona exterior y en la interior grandes juncales y carrizales ,aguas libres, islotes y arboles . Access is through a path that is located on the road from Viana to Logroño to the left towards Logroño, it has a parking lot. Click on the P in the map to get directions. The circular walking route around the wetland is 4 km.
