Laguna de Medina is a very large inland pond which is bordered by large reed beds. It is an important site for the reproduction of lyska czubata and sterniczka. This site is also a first-rate place as a migratory and wintering stopover for thousands of ducks. The Laguna de Medina is located about 10 km south of Jerez de la Frontera on the edge of the A-381 autovia at exit number 4. You will then arrive at the entrance to the site where several parking lots are available with a forest house open part of the year. The area can be explored on foot on wooden gratings.
