En la costa pueden verse de gaviotas, cormoranes, alcatraz atlántico y pardelas. Hacia el interior, en las tierras llanas de la marina de Cope se refugian cogujadas, terreras, alcaravanes, y en los matorrales que tapizan los montes la tarabillas, currucas y el escaso camachuelo trompetero. El búho real, águila perdicera y el halcón peregrino se encuentran en Cabo Cope y sus abruptos relieves.
