Pustnicu Forest is a big forest bordering the river Pasărea, a tributary of the river Danube. In the areas bordering the water, Cernica and Pustnicu, you can observe birds like perkoz dwuczuby, rybitwa białoskrzydła, łyska and podgorzałka. In the forested parts you can see birds like dzięcioł duży, dzięcioł średni, dzięcioł zielony, bogatka (zwyczajna), sójka and kowalik.
