In the forest of La Roche Merveilleuse you can watch a lot of passerine birds like Mascarene Paradise-Flycatcher, Reunion White-eye or Reunion Stonechat. You can also find a Reunion Harrier flying over.

You can park next to the area in the street "Chem. de la Roche Merveilleuse". Click on the P in the map for directions or coordinates. From there you can discover the hiking trails. The indicated walking route on the map is about 1 km. Near the parking area is a vantage point where you have a great view on the city of Cilaos.
