Opis
You can explore the entire Veines peninsula and also the platform over the sea where several bird species can be observed, including nurnik, kormoran, kormoran czubaty, rybitwa rzeczna, rybitwa popielata and gulls. Some shore birds as sieweczka obrożna or biegus morski can be observed all summer, and ostrygojad may nest on the beach during summer there. Inland you can spot siewka złota, batalion, uszatka błotna, bielik and myszołów włochaty.
Water birds as edredon and szlachar and also a diversity of small birds as podróżniczek, śnieguła, dzwoniec, czarnogłówka (zwyczajna), czeczotka and pliszka siwa contribute to the very interesting diversity. In fact all parts of the peninsula are good for birding.

By the main road you acces Veines and you park the car at the begining of the walking trail. Click on the P in the map for directions. You can walk all over the peninsula on the left when you start walking. At some point of the walk up in the mountain you will find an observatory. It is also possible from the end of the peninsula (lighthouse) to spot whales during migration.
