Zandafgraving Voorne Heerewaarden has a beautiful river landscape with wet, wild parts. It is a nature reserve located along the river Maas. Not only the former gravel pits are interesting, but also the parts along the Maas and in the direction of Fort Voorne. Birds you can find in the area include zimorodek, nurogęś, płomykówka (zwyczajna), pójdźka, Płaskonos, ohar, kukułka and perkozek.

Niet alleen rond de zandafgraving maar ook langs de Maas en richting fort Voorne. Vogels die je er kunt aantreffen zijn onder meer zimorodek, nurogęś, płomykówka (zwyczajna), pójdźka, Płaskonos, ohar, kukułka en perkozek.
