Opis

Vogelhoek - Fûgelhoeke is located close to the lake Morra and is separated by a dike with a cycle path. This is useful for observing the birds on both sides. Both on the Fûgelhoeke and the Morra you can have a good look at perkoz dwuczuby, głowienka and czernica. In winter many species of geese and in spring small songbirds such as kapturka, wierzbówka zwyczajna, wąsatka and potrzos. Chance of kobuz and certainly pustułka (zwyczajna). bielik has been breeding within 2 km in a forest near Fleuzzen for years.

Nederlands: Vogelhoek - Fûgelhoeke bestaat grotendeels uit een meertje met rondom kruidenrijk rietland en wat veenmosrietland. Het meertje ligt vlak bij de Morra en wordt door een dijkje met fietspad van elkaar gescheiden. Dat is handig voor het aan beide kanten bekijken van de vogels. Zowel op de Fûgelhoeke als de Morra kan je goed kijken naar perkoz dwuczuby, głowienka en czernica. In de winter veel ganzensoorten en in voorjaar kleine zangvogels als kapturka, wierzbówka zwyczajna, wąsatka en potrzos. Kans op kobuz en zeker pustułka (zwyczajna). bielik broedt al jaren binnen 2 km in bosje bij Fleuzzen.

On the dike that separates the Morra and the Fûgelhoeke and on which the cycle path is located, the poison ivy, so infamous in North America and Canada, grows high in the willows and shrubs. Look at it, but don't touch it!!! Touching poison ivy can lead to severe skin reactions.

Nederlands: Op de Vangdijk die de Morra en de Fûgelhoeke scheidt en waarop het fietspad ligt, groeit het in Noord-Amerika en Canada zo beruchte gifsumak (poison ivy) tot hoog in de wilgen en struiken. Kijk ernaar, maar blijf er af!!! Aanraking van de gifsumak kan tot heftige huidreacties leiden.
