Opis

The mussel beds in this part of the Wadden Sea are a good feeding ground for birds like edredon , zausznik and, in winter, nur rdzawoszyi and/or nurzyk . When you're lucky, you may find a perkoz rogaty or a perkoz rdzawoszyi between the numerous zausznik , that gather here after the breeding season.

There is a parking lot along the IJsdijk and a maintenance road as well as a staircase going over the dike. Most of the birds can easily be seen from the dike. In winter, it may be interesting to search the outer rocks for świergotek nadmorski and śnieguła.

The Wadden Sea can be quite choppy, but the grebes can still be there. It may be worthwhile to take an extra good look.
