The Lage Landje near Schermerhorn is a wetland outside the dike of approximately 3 hectares. It belongs to the drainage basins of 't Zwet and the Schermer Ringvaart and is separated from the drainage basin by a dike. The site itself is not accessible but can be easily overlooked from the higher dike Westmijzerdijk. Birds regularly seen there include Płaskonos, ohar, krakwa, ostrygojad, czajka, sieweczka rzeczna, kszyk, krwawodziób, łęczak, potrzos, podróżniczek, rokitniczka, trzcinniczek (zwyczajny) and błotniak stawowy.

Nederlands: Het Lage Landje bij Schermerhorn is een klein buitendijks wetland van circa 3 hectare. Het behoort tot de boezemlanden van 't Zwet en de Schermer Ringvaart en is met een dijkje afgescheiden van de boezem. Het terrein zelf is niet toegankelijk maar kan prima worden overzien vanaf de hoger gelegen Westmijzerdijk. Vogels die er regelmatig worden gezien zijn onder meer Płaskonos, ohar, krakwa, ostrygojad, czajka, sieweczka rzeczna, kszyk, krwawodziób, łęczak, potrzos, podróżniczek, rokitniczka, trzcinniczek (zwyczajny) en błotniak stawowy.

Het Lage Landje is located directly north of the village of Schermerhorn. The area has no parking lot and is best explored on foot or by bicycle from Schermerhorn. Parking is possible next to the church in Schermerhorn. From there it is about 500 meters walking/cycling.

Nederlands: Het Lage Landje ligt direct ten noorden van Schermerhorn. Het gebied heeft geen eigen parkeerplaats en is het best te voet of per fiets te verkennenvanuit Schermerhorn. Parkeren kan eventueel naast de kerk in Schermerhorn. Van daaruit is het ongeveer 500 meter lopen/fietsen.
