Opis
The Lage Hoek area consists of several pieces of land around the West Frisian village of Opmeer. Here you will find bumpy, herb-rich, wet grasslands, where rycyk, czajka and krwawodziób can raise their young. The land is a mosaic of herbs and species. In the spring and early summer you can make a nice meadow bird walk on the road Lage Hoek.

Nederlands: Het weidevogelreservaat Lage Hoek bij het dorp Opmeer is een mooie plek om weidevogels te kijken. Het gebied Lage Hoek bestaat uit meerdere stukken land rond het Westfriese dorp Opmeer. Hier vind je nog hobbelige, kruidenrijke, natte graslanden, waar grutto’s, kieviten en tureluurs hun jongen kunnen grootbrengen. Het land is een mozaïek van kruiden en soorten. Je kunt in de lente en vroege zomer een mooi weidevogelwandeling over het weggetje Lage Hoek maken.

The area itself is not accessible, but it is easy to see from the Lage Hoek road. You can also make a circular walk of 6 km (see the map below). Click on the P in the map for directions to the area.
