The forest is located directly east of the village of Hernen. You can park next to the old mill. Press P on the map for directions. The forest is not large. You can walk a circuit of approximately 2 kilometers. You can also combine the Hernense Bos with the adjacent forest of Leurse Bos.

Nederlands: Het Hernense bos ligt direct ten oosten van het dorp Hernen. Je kunt parkeren naast de Hernense molen. Druk op P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving. Het bos is niet groot. Je kunt er een rondje lopen van circa 2 kilometer. Je kunt het Hernense bos eventueel ook combineren met het ernaast gelegen Leurse bos.
