Opis

Gelders Hoofd was redeveloped a couple of years ago in the context of 'ruimte voor de rivier' (more space for the river). It is an open, wide view area and a typical river landscape . Mostly fairly quiet meadows mixed with agricultural land. Among the birds you can see here are gęś białoczelna, bernikla białolica, świstun, pustułka (zwyczajna) and rycyk.

Nederlands: Het Gelders Hoofd ligt langs een herontwikkeld gebied langs de IJssel vlakbij de stad Zutphen. Een weids landschap met veel watervogels en de nationale vogel van Nederland: rycyk. Het Gelders Hoofd is een aantal jaar geleden herontwikkeld in het kader van 'Ruimte voor de rivier'. Je hebt er een open, weids uitzicht op een typisch rivierlandschap. Meestal vrij rustige weilanden en landbouwgrond. Vogels die je hier kunt zien zijn onder meer gęś białoczelna, bernikla białolica, świstun, pustułka (zwyczajna) en rycyk.
