Deelerwoud is an area with extensive forests and vast areas of heath. It is part of the Veluwe, the largest contiguous forest area in the Netherlands.

Opis

The Deelerwoud area is flat and hilly in landscape. The area is a quiet nature reserve, both for people and nature. Many birds can be seen here. Among the birds you can encounter are świergotek drzewny, Trzmielojad, błotniak zbożowy, pleszka, lerka, kukułka, trznadel, kląskawka, muchołówka żałobna and muchołówka szara.

Nederlands: Het Deelerwoud is een gebied met uitgestrekte bossen en eindeloze heidevelden op de Veluwe. Het gebied heeft zowel vlak als heuvelachtige landschap. Het gebied is een rustig natuurgebied, zowel voor de mens alsmede de natuur. Tijdens vakanties en in weekenden kan het er wel heel druk zijn. Vogels die je er kunt zien zijn świergotek drzewny, Trzmielojad, błotniak zbożowy, pleszka, lerka, kukułka, kląskawka, trznadel, muchołówka żałobna en muchołówka szara.

You can park your car at two starting points of Deelerwoud, on the north side and on the south side. Click on a P in the map for directions to that point. From the parking lot you can explore the area by bike or on foot. There are many marked hiking and biking trails. The circular walk on the map is approximately 14 km long. You can also take shorter walks from the southern parking lot. The 'Deelerheide' walk is 6.5 km long and marked with red arrows, the 'Hartenhulberg' walk is 8.5 km long and is marked with green arrows.

Nederlands: Parkeren aan de rand van het gebied. Je kunt op twee startplekken van Deelerwoud je auto parkeren. Klik op een P in de kaart voor een routebeschrijving naar dat punt. Vanaf de parkeerplaats kun je het gebied verkennen met fiets of te voet. Er zijn veel gemarkeerde wandelpaden en fietspaden. De rondwandeling op de kaart is ongeveer 14 km lang. Vanaf de zuidelijke parkeerplaats kun je ook kortere wandelingen doen. De 'Deelerheide' wandeling is 6,5 km lang en met rode pijltjes gemarkeerd, de 'Hartenhulberg' wandeling is 8,5 km lang en is met groene pijltjes gemarkeerd.

In addition to birding you can also encounter red deer, fox or wild boars. You can also encounter a large group of Scottish Highland cattle.

Nederlands: Naast vogelen kun je ook edelhert of wilde zwijnen tegen komen. Daarnaast ook een vos. Ook kan je een grote groep Schotse Hooglanders tegen komen.
