Opis
The Corversbos forest houses bird species that would be expected in a forest. The jastrząb, along with myszołów and krogulec are the birds of prey that are common here and at night the puszczyk zwyczajny can be heard. The Corversbos also houses passerines like śpiewak and muchołówka żałobna and there are also multiple species of woodpecker, such as dzięcioł duży and dzięcioł czarny. Its main attraction however are the open fields in the middle of the forest. These fields are a good spot to watch songbird migration, especially in autumn. Species like kwiczoł and droździk are most numerous then.

Nederlands: Dit kleine bos, vlakbij landgoed Gooilust, lijkt onopvallend. Maar door de open velden midden in het bos, vind je er meer vogels dan je op het eerste gezicht zou denken. Het Corversbos heeft vogelsoorten die je in een bos kunt verwachten, zoals jastrząb, myszołów en krogulec. 's Nachts is de puszczyk zwyczajny te horen. Het Corversbos herbergt ook zangvogels zoals śpiewak en muchołówka żałobna en er zijn ook meerdere soorten spechten, zoals dzięcioł duży en dzięcioł czarny. De belangrijkste attractie zijn echter de open velden midden in het bos. Deze velden zijn een goede plek om de migratie van zangvogels te bekijken, vooral in de herfst. Soorten als kwiczoł en droździk zijn dan het talrijkst.

There is parking space for cars at the graveyard closeby. Click on the P in the map for directions. You can't bike in most parts of the forest, so best to explore on foot.
