Opis
Sabache Camp is located in an acacia and thorn tree forested valley below Mount Ololokwe. On a 2 to 4 hour walk you might be able to spot over 50 different bird species which are common in the dry country of Northern Kenya such as Fischer's Starling, Speckle-fronted Weaver and Eastern Yellow-billed Hornbill. In addition, from October to March you will be able to spot winter migratory birds like European Roller and Steppe Eagle.

Sabache Camp is located about 350 km north of Nairobi. The camp is reachable by car and from Nairobi it is a five and half hour drive. Press P on the map for directions or coordinates. It is best to explore the area by foot and the camp can provide you with a very knowlegable Samburu guide.
Sabache Camp is set in a private nature reserve spread over 500 square miles of some of the most pristine East African wilderness. It is an ecotourism project that strives to show “an intact habitat is worth more than one developed”. Sabache is 100% owned, operated by, and benefits the local indigenous Samburu community.
