Opis
Naretoi is a 1000 acre estate in the greater Mara Ecosystem, that was once an intensive farm, that has now been "re-wilded" and is supporting conservation in the Northern Mara. It is in Enonkishu Conservancy which is located on the northern boundary of the Mara-Serengeti Ecosystem and therefore lies at the interface between the wild lands and fenced farms. The area has two dams and the Mara river which means it is rich in both water, savannah and riverine forest dwelling birds.
Around the dams you will be able to see Woolly-necked Stork, Grey Crowned Crane, Spur-winged Goose and Water Thick-knee.
And in the flat grassland you can find Red-necked Spurfowl, Secretarybird, Black-bellied Bustard, Southern Ground-Hornbill and African Wattled Lapwing.
Lastly, up in the trees you could spot Woodland Kingfisher, Ross's Turaco, African Fish-eagle and Rüppell's Robin-Chat.
There is also alot of wildlife roaming around which is a very nice addition.
