Opis
The Prigionette - Porto Conte Forest is one of the most sensitive and botanically rich areas of the Porto Conte Regional Natural Park. This is a historically protected animal sanctuary, which it has managed for more than half a century. There is an extensive network of trails and you can enjoy the Mediterranean flora and encounter animals such as the Sardinian donkey, the white Asinara donkey, and wild horses that have become feral over the years. Deer and wild boar also occur on the plains. Thanks to a reintroduction project, it is also increasingly common to see sęp płowy circling near the cliffs of Cala Barca. The landscapes that can be admired along the trails range from those on high rocky cliffs to typical hilly areas.
