Opis
Of the two Terlago lakes, the northern one is for recreation. The southern lake Biotopo di Terlago is more natural and has varied and abundant birdlife throughout the year. The observable species range from woodland to aquatic to mountain species. The site is easily accessible from Trento and there is a circular route close to the banks. One section is equipped with a walkway and an observation tower. The most interesting bird species that can be observed are the błotniak stawowy (a couple seems to be sedentary), gadożer, cyraneczka, czapla nadobna, ślepowron, samotnik and bączek. There is a good presence of dzięcioł zielony and dzięcioł duży which nest in the surrounding woods. Inevitable is the czapla siwa.

Italiano: I due Laghi di Terlago sono di origine carsica e si trovano a ridosso dell'omonimo abitato. La presenza di volatili è molto variegata e abbondante durante tutto l'anno. Le specie osservabili spaziano da quelle boschive a quelle acquatiche a quelle montane. Il sito è facilmente raggiungibile da Trento ed è disponibile un percorso ad anello a ridosso delle sponde. Un tratto è fornito di passerella e di torretta di osservazione. Le specie più interessanti che si possono osservare sono il błotniak stawowy (una coppia pare essere stanziale), gadożer, cyraneczka, czapla nadobna, ślepowron, samotnik e bączek. Buona la presenza di dzięcioł zielony e dzięcioł duży che nidificano nei boschi circostanti. Immancabile l' czapla siwa.
