Nea Agathoupoli is a wonderful site, with great numbers of a lot of interesting birds. One of those places where you feel that there is to much to see to handle.
From the observation tower you have a good view of the delta and the lagoons with sometimes big amounts of bączek, bąk, czapla modronosa, ślepowron, czapla purpurowa, ibis kasztanowaty and a lot of ducks and podgorzałka. In the surrounding area wilga (zwyczajna), dzierzba rudogłowa and rybitwa krótkodzioba can be seen.

The observation tower is only open some days and parts of the day, Wednesday – Friday: 10:00- 14:00 + 2 Saturdays/month. But standing on the hill behind the tower works fine.
