Opis
The Schenkenwald forest is particularly good for some forest birds, that are much harder to find elsewhere in the region. No. 1 is the muchołówka żałobna. The forest has a lot of nestboxes and therefore a remarkably high density of muchołówka żałobna. No. 2 is the dzięcioł średni. They are always there and chances are high, especially in winter. With some luck dzięciołek is also possible. No. 3 is the wilga (zwyczajna). Hard to see, but they are there. The best chances you have in the southern part of the forest.
Also mentionable are reliable sikora uboga and quite high numbers of kania ruda and bocian biały in the surrounding fields. With some luck, siniak is possible.
