Opis
Norderney combines great birding with relatively easy accessibility. Besides the common Wadden Sea species, such as waders, gulls and ducks, it offers good seabird watching, birdy reedbeds and close-up encounters with breeding białorzytka, one of the last strongholds of this species in Germany.

You can reach the island by ferry and plane. One can take their car to the island on the ferry, but a car is not needed to get around. Bikes can be rented in several places, but walking is fine too. The infrastructure is pretty good, but the eastern third of the island is unpaved and you'll need to walk. Some paths may be closed here during the breeding season, but you won't miss much.
