Opis
Nice combination of lake, reedbeds and woodlands. There is a large population of trzciniak , and a colony of rybitwa czarna at Die Banke. In winter, when other sites in Berlin can be a bit boring, one can find interesting waterfowl here, including perkoz rdzawoszyi, perkoz rogaty, gągoł, uhla and various loons. In the winter 2020 the lake was visited by one of the rarest loons, the nur białodzioby (gavia adamsii). The woodlands south of the lake are home to breeding muchołówka mała.
