Midlumer Marsch lies on the island of Föhr in Schleswig-Holstein, near the village of Midlum. If you’re coming from mainland Germany, the usual route is to travel to Dagebüll Mole, which is the ferry port serving Föhr. From there, ferries operated run regularly to Wyk auf Föhr, the island’s main town. The crossing takes about 50 minutes. For ferry tickets and schedule see the link below. Midlum is about 5 km north of Wyk.
Parking is available along the street 'Deichstraße'. The area is ideal for exploring on foot or by bicycle, allowing you to experience nature and birdlife undisturbed. Cars are less suitable, as the paths are primarily designed for cyclists and pedestrians, and driving them would otherwise limit the enjoyment of nature.

The Midlum marshland, located between Schutzstation Wattenmeer (Wadden Sea Conservation Station) in the west and the Vogelkoje (bird decoy) at its western end, is ideal for exploring on foot or by bicycle. A spotting scope is recommended, as the open marsh landscape is very expansive and makes observations easier.
