Opis
The wine-growing area around the Tannenberg near Hüttenheim is ideal, especially during the breeding season, for observing some breeding birds that have become rare, even in Franconia. Due to the still partly small-scale cultural landscape with sun-exposed slopes, numerous hedges and extensive forests in the vicinity of the foothills of the Steigerwald, species such as ortolan, wilga (zwyczajna) and turkawka can still be found here. But species like trznadel and skowronek are also more common here. Furthermore, when the weather conditions are right, birds of prey such as myszołów, kania ruda, pustułka (zwyczajna) and błotniak łąkowy can also be discovered here.
