Opis
The Hemmelsdorfer See is a lake that has many different water birds, depending on the time of year. Breeding birds include łabędź niemy, krakwa, łyska and perkoz dwuczuby. Other birds that are observerd regularly are zimorodek, bielik, błotniak stawowy, trzcinniczek (zwyczajny), trzciniak, podróżniczek and wąsatka. During migration you can observe birds like mewa mała, rybołów, rybitwa czarna and głowienka.
Coolest one I've seen were bielaczek in winter and I heard wilga (zwyczajna) in the trees in summer. The boardwalk goes out into the lake and along the reeds. Also great spot for landscape photography.

Otherwise there is a free, public parking area available a little further down the road, which I marked as the trail head. Click on a P in the map for directions.
