Opis
The Feldberg is the highest mountain of the Black Forest and holds a variety of typical mountain birds of the region. Many breeding birds arrive late, so that a visit in May or June is particularly rewarding. Best spot for osetnik is around Todtnauer Hütte. głuszec still occurs in the area, but is very difficult to find. Best chances for dzięcioł trójpalczasty are along the "Felsenweg" (northernmost section of the circuit). In some years mornel rest on the alpine meadows in early September. płochacz halny and even śnieżka can be found occasionally in late spring, particularly near the monument on top of the mountain.
