Opis
At the river Ahr are breeding sieweczka rzeczna and zimorodek. In the floodplains are meadows, forests and a little reedbed. In the meadows are breeding pójdźka (10 territories in 2020). gąsiorek and świerszczak are possible breeding birds. In the forests are breeding słowik rdzawy , wilga (zwyczajna) and dzięcioł średni. You can also see kania czarna and kobuz during breeding time. In the little reedbed are trzcinniczek (zwyczajny) and łozówka (also common next to the Ahr). zaganiacz szczebiotliwy and zaganiacz can also be found in the area.
During migration, you can see migratory birds like rybołów and samotnik. In winter you can see some wintering birds like pluszcz.

There is a train station in Linz (direct connections to Cologne and Koblenz), from where you have to cross the Rhine with the ferry to Kripp. Another train station is in Sinzig (direct connections to Bonn and Koblenz) from where you can go directly to the meadows at the southern edge of the area.
You can park in Kripp (follow the B9 until Kripp). The walking route you see on the map is about 7 km.
