Large prairie area near the village of Varennes-le-Grand where many species of grassland birds such as kulik wielki, pokląskwa, potrzeszcz and pliszka żółta are found. In these grasslands the derkacz is a regular breeder. During wet periods, the grasslands can become flooded, which attracts many migrating birds and waders.
