The beach and marsh of Branzais has it all. At the same time estuary, marsh, lagoon, beach and reed bed. The Branzais offers a variety of backgrounds which turns out to be interesting for varied observations. Coastal birds and shorebirds on the beach and in the marshes, a variety of passerines in the thicket areas and in the reed beds. In short, a place worth visiting for birders.

A la fois estuaire, marais, zone de lagunage, plage, roselière, le Branzais offre une variété de mileux qui se révèle intéressant pour des observations variées. Oiseaux de bord de côte et limicoles sur la plage et dans les marais, une variété de passereaux dans les zones de fourrés et dans les roselières... At the entrance of Penestin, at the roundabout, turn right towards Le Branzais, go to the end of the road. At the stop sign, turn right and park in the parking lot under the pine forest. From there explore the area on foot. For the best birding on the beach it's best to be there at mid-tide or low tide.

Français: A l'entrée de Penestin, au rond-point, prendre à droite en direction du Branzais, aller au bout de la route. Au stop, tournez à droite et garez-vous sur le parking sous la forêt de pins. Sentier à faire à pied. Privilégiez la mi-marée ou la marée basse pour la partie plage.
