At Parc Départemental de la Boucle de Montesson a park has been created around an old flooded quarry not far from the river Seine. One of the edges of the lake has reed beds. Many birds can be observed here. Several species of geese, ducks, gulls, herons and grebes, as well as łyska, łabędź niemy and kormoran. The adjoining park contains a pond, with many frogs. Many dragonflies can also be seen.

Français: Ancienne carrière inondée. Roselière sur un des bords. Un parc a été aménagé autour d'une ancienne carière inondée non loin de la seine. On peut y observer de nombreux oiseau: Bernaches du Canada, plusieurs espèces de canards (colvert, souchet, morillon...), Foulques, Grèbe Huppé, Cygnes, ainsi que quelques pies, mouettes, cormorans... Un parc attenant contient une pièce d'eau, avec de très nombreuses grenouilles. De nombreuses libellules (surtout des sympétrums) sont observables.

The main entrance of the park is on the road between Sartrouvile and Montesson, with parking. Click on the P in the map for directions. Also accessible by bike and on foot, directly via the towpath along the Seine (Véloroutes Paris-London and Seine à vélo).
