Observatoire Ornithologique de Charvillat is situated on a little hill and good for observing bird migration, especially during autumn migration. But it is also a beautiful site for any season. You can see very far when the sky is clear and it is pleasant viewpoint. Birds that can be seen migrating include grzywacz, zięba, makolągwa, kormoran, kania ruda, szpak, czyż, skowronek, pliszka żółta, pliszka siwa, myszołów, dymówka, lerka and pustułka (zwyczajna).

Observatoire Ornithologique de Charvillat is located 3 km southwest of the village of Saint-Gervais d'Auvergne. There is a small parking just below the observatory. Press P on the map for directions to the parking.
