At Observatoire Baie de St Brieuc you can have wonderful encounters with zimorodek fishing in front of you, bernikla obrożna feeding on the nearby beach, and makolągwa and passerines in the surrounding hedges. From time to time you can observe a seal or dolphin and wild boars also live in the area. For the past few months in 2025, a female turkan lives with the ohar, often feeding nearby. Waders are everywhere, from plovers and sandpipers to curlews.

Toujours de belles rencontres entre le martin pêcheur qui pêche devant vous, les bernaches cravants qui volent devant vous et se nourissent sur la plage d'à côté, les linottes et passereaux dans les haies autour....de temps en temps un phoque ou des dauphins ou des sangliers qui se baladent dans la baie ! Depuis quelques mois un eider à tête grise femelle qui vit avec les tadornes souvent en nourissage pas loin.... et des limicoles partout ! Fan de Pluviers, de becasseaux, courlis... go !

Observatoire Baie de St Brieuc is located west of the town of Hillion. Possibility to park and just do the observatory or to hike along the path. Free parking for 5-6 spaces. Press P on the map for directions to the parking. The walking route indicated on the map is about 4 km one way. From the parking to the bird hide is only about 300 meters.

Français: L'Observatoire Baie de St Brieuc est situé à l'ouest de la ville d'Hillion. Possibilité de se garer et de faire juste l'observatoire ou de faire la randonnée le long du chemin. Parking gratuit de 5 à 6 places. Appuyez sur P sur la carte pour obtenir l'itinéraire vers le parking. L'itinéraire indiqué sur la carte fait environ 4 km aller simple.
