Marais du Douhet is particularly interesting because it brings together a great diversity of species, sometimes in high density and at all times of the year.
Among the nesting birds are the krwawodziób, the szczudłak, the wierzbówka zwyczajna, the chwastówka zwyczajna, the pustułka (zwyczajna) or the ohar. During migration, the płatkonóg płaskodzioby or the kopciuszek are passing through. In winter, bernikla obrożna, siewka złota and czajka are stationed on the site.
All year round shorebirds, ducks, gulls, herons, grebes and many others are present.
